PIONER GROUP completed the installation of a large translucent stretch ceiling with LED backlighting for a government facility in the Dubai Silicon Oasis area.
The objective of the project was to transform a large section of the ceiling into a continuous source of soft, diffused light while maintaining a clean architectural appearance.
Instead of relying exclusively on conventional ceiling fixtures, the entire rectangular ceiling area was designed as one large luminous surface.
The completed installation demonstrates one of the main advantages of a backlit stretch ceiling: lighting and ceiling finish can be combined into a single architectural element.
The central feature of the project is a large rectangular translucent ceiling extending across a significant part of the room.
A translucent stretch membrane was installed within a perimeter profile system, with an extensive LED lighting system positioned behind the membrane.
