This project included the complete supply and installation of a DALI-controlled tunable white translucent stretch ceiling for a commercial showroom located in Al Quoz, Dubai.
The system was engineered to provide uniform backlighting, adjustable color temperature (3000K–6500K), and a refined architectural finish suitable for modern commercial interiors.
The implementation was completed in three structured stages to ensure precise integration between the lighting system and ceiling construction.

Gypsum Bulkhead Preparation (200 mm Depth)
The client provided a pre-constructed gypsum board bulkhead with a depth of 200 mm, finished in white.
For translucent stretch ceiling systems, a minimum cavity depth of 100 mm is typically required to ensure proper light diffusion. The extended depth allowed us to optimize:
• LED spacing and positioning
• Driver placement
• Thermal management
• Service accessibility
• Uniform light distribution
This created an ideal foundation for a high-performance illuminated ceiling system.
Aluminium Profile Installation & LED Integration
Aluminium stretch ceiling profiles were installed inside the gypsum bulkhead, followed by integration of the Tunable White LED system.

• DALI dimming control via wall switch
• LED spacing engineered at 80 mm intervals
• High-density layout to prevent hotspots
• Uniform membrane illumination

Translucent Membrane Installation
The final stage involved installation of the translucent PVC stretch membrane.
