This project features a printed backlit stretch ceiling with integrated LED lighting installed in an MRI room in Abu Dhabi.
The objective was to create a calming and visually engaging environment for patients while maintaining bright, clean, and functional lighting required for medical procedures. The printed ceiling design helps reduce patient stress and transforms the clinical space into a more comfortable and modern environment.
A 6500K daylight lighting system was selected to provide high visibility and accurate illumination, essential for medical use. The system operates with a simple On/Off control, ensuring reliability and ease of operation.

Installation Process
At the first stage, the ceiling structure was prepared and LED lighting was installed inside the light box system. The LED layout was carefully designed to ensure even light distribution across the entire surface.
Special attention was given to spacing and positioning of the LED strips to eliminate hotspots and achieve uniform brightness behind the membrane.
At the final stage, the printed stretch ceiling membrane was installed. The custom print creates a visually appealing element that enhances the patient experience.
Once installed, the membrane diffuses the LED light, creating a soft, evenly illuminated surface without visible light sources or glare.
