We successfully completed a translucent stretch ceiling project with integrated LED backlighting inside a gypsum bulkhead at Dubai Mall, Dubai, UAE. The system features clean and uniform neutral white illumination (4000K) with a simple ON/OFF control system, designed specifically for commercial use.
This project was completed in three main stages: preparation of the gypsum box, LED installation, and final membrane installation.
At the first stage, the gypsum bulkhead (light box) was fully constructed and prepared for LED integration.

The 100 mm depth is essential to ensure even light distribution and proper diffusion once the translucent membrane is installed. Correct preparation at this stage guarantees a professional final result.
After completing the gypsum preparation, we installed high-quality 24V LED strips inside the bulkhead.
